Pastor Joon Ho Chung gave himself the English name Paul because he was inspired by the Apostle Paul's heart and ministry. He was born in South Korea in a Methodist Church family. Paul was raised and trained as a serious practical Christian from his childhood and was determined that he was going to be a pastor since he was five years old.
Paul studied at Methodist Theological Seminary, Pitzer College, Claremont Graduate University. Through all of that schooling, Paul realized that what he was being taught was do not giving enough authority to the Word of God, but rather, was mixing in manmade ideas and degrading the authenticity of the word. So, he joined the WELS and studied at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary through its PSI program. Through this, he learned, trained, and grew in his faith of God with the blessing of the Holy Spirit and is filled with passion to spread the pure and untarnished Word of God the members and neighbors of Peace Lutheran Church.
Let everything that has breath praise the LORD! Praise the LORD! (Psalm 150:6)
